The Lord placed home schooling on my heart long before I even thought about getting married! This is record of the Lord's work in our lives and in our home school. Let HIS will be done!

Weekly Report 10/18 - 10/22

Hello and God bless everyone! This past week was probably a "medium" school week. Monday, we went to the kid's museum and I took the girls all by myself!! They did a great job and we had a blast!

Bible - We read from our Bible stories book and our devotional book this week.

Math -  We are still working in Horizons Math. I decided to just go ahead and finish the first book before resuming Singapore 1b. Squeak should have the book completed sometime towards the middle to end of next month. She is flying through that book. We skip a lot of the repetitions and I let her work 5 lessons at a time. We go through about 10 lessons per week.

Science - Plants! Still the topic in science. We set up our kidnet bean experiment this week - a drinking glass lined with a wet paper towel and four kidney beans stuck between the glass and the paper towel. Squeak recorded her first observations in the Nature Diary and later in the week, when we saw roots starting to sprout, we made another record in the diary.

The server is again rejecting all my pictures! And I can't put up one of the flower page that Packy colored!

Other -  Squeak completed the Lollipop Logic book in two sittings. We finished Magic School Bus chapter book #5 and started Pony Pals chapter book #1.

  3. Wondering what server you are using. At times I have trouble with Google Chrome so I switch to Internet Explorer.
Still amazed at your daughter's progress. Love the seed project, I remember growing lima bean seeds in school, remember the paper towels and everything. Gotta do this with the girls.
